So we're outside in the yard last night. I'm filling the water buckets to take to the dogs, and I start dancing in place to pass the time. Brent looks at me for moment.
"Shake bootie, mommy?"
"Yep! Hey, do you even know what your bootie is?"
He lifts up his shirt and points to his nipples, one at a time.
"Boots! See Mommy!"
And this is why you should always use anatomically proper terminology in front of your children.
