Garden Update

Today I planted watermelons and sunflowers - pictures to follow when they actually come up (hopefully) someday.

These are all plants that we started from seeds - peas, lettuce and tomatoes.  We also have peppers, carrots, spinach, beans, canteloupe, cucumbers.  Our separate herb garden didn't fare so hot with the seeds outside, but we bought some plants to get things started, and the new ones we've grown inside are about 4 inches tall now.  Pictures to follow another day.  I was muddy enough from going around to see the flowers.

I'm getting old....

It's official. I can no longer beat Brent in Mario Kart. At first, when we were approaching the finish line close to the same time, I would 'accidentally' slow down a bit so he could win. Now, if I had that chance, I would blast it all the way to the end, because it would be a hard won victory.
